For the next month, our incredible underwater robots are hard at work in a remote part of Far North Queensland, assisting with a biomass survey on the Great Barrier Reef. This critical research will help scientists better understand reef health and marine life density in some of Australia’s most untouched waters.

⛔ Temporary Pause at Green Island

While our robots are conducting this important survey, they’ll temporarily be offline at Green Island. This means they won’t be available for use by our Ocean Escapes pediatric patients or general users during this period.

But don’t worry—they’ll be back in action by mid-July, ready to continue bringing the reef to life for children in hospital and curious ocean lovers alike.

🎓 Upcoming Live Demonstrations with JCU

We’re also thrilled to share that our robots will be part of live demonstrations with James Cook University at the end of July, showcasing the exciting and versatile research capabilities of our underwater tech.

Whether it’s education, entertainment, or cutting-edge science, our robots continue to prove just how valuable and flexible they are when it comes to exploring the Great Barrier Reef.

🙌 How You Can Support

If you love what we’re doing and want to support our work, there are two ways to donate:

  1. Support university students – via the JCU Angels Program.
  2. Support pediatric patients – through our Ocean Escapes Program.

Every donation helps keep this project alive, delivering real-world science, smiles, and awe-inspiring underwater adventures.
